To date, I have only used the product in a Nuvi gps, while driving on a lake for ice fishing. It opens a whole new window on the world- to see the underwater depth contours (and any waypoints I had added) while driving on the lake, is really helpful in finding fishing locations. I'm looking forward to using it during the summer. Well worth the price for me.

I paired up the Lakemaster card with a Garmin 255W Nuvi mainly for ice fishing. Set it on the dash of my truck and drive around on the lake and find bottom contours and holes. I'm amazed at it's accuracy. I love this thing more and more everytime that I use it. I didn't really buy it for boat use, but I definitely will use it on my boats now.

I use this product every time out in the boat. I use it in my garmin that i have in the truck. It is a great tool for us guys who can't afford the high end marine gps/sonar units that are on the market today. This will be very nice for ice season as well. Get on spots quick and easy with out having to drill 15,000 holes to find the spots we want. Only drawback is that it doesn't have a lot of the features that lakemaster has on the hummingbird units dedicated to your boat, but I wasn't expecting that being that it isn't being used in one of those pricey units. It does show contours in 1 foot increments on the popular lake master lakes and 3 foot contours on most other lakes. Definitely recommend to the angler wanting GPS maps but is on a budget and can't afford the 500+ for the dedicated marine units. I also recommend using a gps that has a 4"+ screen or it can be a little harder to see the maps. I am using it in Garmin 1490
